This scroll explores the history of Bible translations, the principles of translating Scripture, the differences between literal and meaning-based translations, the textual traditions of the Old and New Testaments, as well as the most well-known translations in various languages of the world. Particular attention is given to Ukrainian Bible translations, their history, linguistic features, and significance for Ukrainian Christians.

An important part of this work is also an introduction to the Bible platform Bible.net.ua — one of the projects of the SVITKI mission, created to provide free access to Scripture in various languages. The platform brings together Bible translations, helps users compare texts, study the Word of God, and promotes its spread among people who desire to know the Holy Scriptures more deeply.

Our goal is to help readers understand the history and value of Bible translations, learn to use them responsibly, and see how God has preserved His Word throughout the centuries and revealed it to peoples in their own languages.
